What is the maximum email attachment size?
We generally operate a 50MB limit for email message size. Many ISPs block messages that are larger than 20MB, so a 50MB limit is quite substantial.
Please note that this 50MB limit is for the complete email message, including attachments.
If you wish to send and receive very large files then you should consider using a service like https://wetransfer.com/ (external link opens in a new window) or a cloud-based filing sharing service like DropBox or OneDrive.
Email was never intended or designed to be a large file transfer protocol.
