How to update your payment card details
If you need to add a new card to your Krystal account, remove an old one, or change which card we use for automatic renewals, you can manage everything yourself from your Krystal client area. This guide walks you through adding a card, choosing a default, and removing cards you no longer need.
How to add a new card
- Log in to your Krystal client area and head to your Payment Methods page. You can also get there by opening the Manage Account menu (on the right hand side on desktop, or towards the bottom of the page on mobile) and clicking Edit Payment Methods.

- Click Add New Credit Card.

- Enter your card details and click Save Changes.
- Your bank may prompt you to complete 3D Secure verification. This is a £0 authorisation just to confirm the card belongs to you, so nothing will actually be charged.
- Once saved, you'll see a green Payment method added successfully notice at the top of the page and your new card will appear in the list below.
How to set a card as your default
If you have more than one card on file, you can choose which one we use for automatic renewals.
- On your Payment Methods page, find the card you'd like to use.
- Click Set as default next to that card.
How to remove a card
- On your Payment Methods page, find the card you want to remove.
- Click Delete next to that card.
- You'll see a green The payment method was deleted successfully notice at the top of the page once it's been removed.
Things to note
- You can store as many cards on your account as you like, but only the card marked as default will be used for automatic renewals.
- Changing your default card only affects future invoices. Any unpaid invoices that have already been generated won't automatically switch over, so you'll need to pay those manually. See our guide on how to pay an invoice for details.
- If you delete your only card and don't add a replacement, we won't be able to collect automatic renewals, which could lead to your services being suspended.
- If you currently pay by PayPal or bank transfer and want to switch to card payments, add your card first, then open a support ticket under Tech Support asking us to change the payment method on your service or domain. We'll make the switch for you.
