Whitelisting IP Addresses for Intelligent Protection (Patchstack)
If your website is protected by Cloudflare and you are using "Under Attack Mode", you will need to whitelist the service IP addresses to ensure smooth operation of Intelligent Protection powered by Patchstack. Until this has been completed, you'll be unable to activate intelligent protection.
This step helps prevent Cloudflare's firewall from blocking legitimate security requests.
Why Whitelisting Is Needed:
Our Intelligent Protection communicates with your website’s server to scan, detect, and prevent vulnerabilities in real time. Occasionally, Cloudflare’s firewall rules or rate-limiting policies can interfere with these connections. By whitelisting the IPs below, you ensure reliable communication between Patchstack and your site.
How to Whitelist IP Addresses in Cloudflare:
- Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard.
- Select your website from the list of domains.
- Navigate to Security → Security Rules.
- Click Create Rule > Custom Rule.
- Choose Field: "IP Source Address" → Operator: "is in" → enter each IP range below, hitting return after entering each.
- Set Action: Skip
- Tick WAF components to skip (all).
- Save and deploy the rule.
Your configuration should match the image below.
