Do I need a domain privacy service?
In the past, many domain registrars have offered a domain privacy add-on service when purchasing domains. This service redacts from public WHOIS lookups all private contact data.
Since the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came in to force in 2018 this data is now redacted by default - which for the most part makes any domain privacy service redundant.
Krystal Hosting no longer sells an additional domain privacy service.
