What Payment Methods Does Krystal Accept?

We accept a few different ways to pay for your Krystal services. This article covers the available payment methods, how automatic card payments work, and what to keep in mind with each one.

Accepted payment methods

  • Credit or debit card - Cards can be saved to your account for automatic invoice payments.
  • PayPal - Available for manual payments on individual invoices.
  • Bank transfer - Available for manual payments. When transferring, use your invoice number or account number as the payment reference so we can match it to your account quickly.

For a step-by-step walkthrough of how to pay an invoice, see our guide: How to Pay an Invoice.

Automatic card payments

If you have a valid credit or debit card saved to your account, we'll automatically attempt to charge it on the morning of the invoice due date. You don't need to do anything, the payment is taken and your services continue as normal.

Invoices are always generated ahead of time so you have visibility of what's coming:

  • Monthly billing - Invoices are generated 7 days before the due date.
  • Annual or biennial billing - Invoices are generated a month before the due date.

If you'd rather settle an invoice earlier, or pay a specific invoice with a different method such as PayPal or bank transfer, you can still do that at any time before the due date from your client area.

To add or update the card saved to your account, see our guide: How to update your payment card details.

If an automatic payment fails

If we're unable to charge your saved card on the due date, we'll send you a notification so you can resolve it. Hosting services are suspended 14 days after non-payment if the invoice still hasn't been settled. Timelines for domains can vary depending on the registry, so we recommend settling any outstanding domain invoices promptly to avoid any issues with renewals.

You can pay an outstanding invoice at any time from your client area.

Things to note

  • Automatic payments are only available when you have a valid credit or debit card saved to your account.
  • PayPal and bank transfer payments must be made manually for each invoice.
  • You can pay any invoice manually before its due date, even if you have a card saved for automatic payments.

If you need a hand with any of this, email us at support@krystal.io or call 020 8050 1337 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm, excluding bank holidays).
